A piece of Rosie's book

Color:RedI choose red because itshows anger and fear.Rosie shows both of theseas she absues her self afterher mom dies and she feelsalone and empty.Rosie feels terrified...she just a ten year old girl who wants her mom.

Image:RoseI choose a rose becauseit shows how Rosie is hardto love beacuse she will pushyou away just like thorns on a rose but a rose is just soft on the inside but you have to get past all the thorns to love it.

Symbol:Two People In OneI choose this symbol for two reasons.1:To show Stacie's split personalities.2:To show how Rosie feels when she talks to Stacie. She feels like herself...real.Rosie doesn't feel like that when she is on her show.

"As he and I got closer I got bigger. For every pound I gained I took one step backwards, using my flesh for padding.I bubble wrapped my heart I am difficult to love, and I knowit"(pg.79).

This quote shows how Rosiepushes people away because ofwhat happens in her past she isafraid to let people too close. She talks about how she uses her fleshfor padding.Almost like she doens'twant to be loved she just wantsto give her love to other people.

"Also I become overinvolved. To put it bluntly, I have noboundaries.Zero,nada,zippo-none"(pg.9).

Rosie loves to help people. She never really thinks about herself though. She evens says she has no boundaries.Rosie just wants to know and do... so she does.Rosie never stops to think about her self.

Acceptance

Rosie wants to help everyonewith their problems but shestarts to realize that she needsto help her self sometimes, too.
