Fibromyalgia is one of the most commmon chronic disorders in which individuals undergo pain in their muscles and joints.There is no definite cause of fibromyalgia, but studies show the disorder may be caused by an inbalance of chemicals in the CNS.

Alterations of neuroendocrine transmitters, like serotonin or growth hormone, appear to lay a strong foundation for fibromyalgia. Along with these characteristics, fibromyalgia is also linked with depression, anxiety, stress, fatigue, and changes in sleeping patterns.Doctors will usually check for swelling, redness, or weakened body movements. Along with that, doctors will also ask for medical history to cancel similar diseases that could explain your symptoms, such as thyroid disease or vitamin D deficiency.
