Ammonium Sulphate

DISADVANTAGE1.Excessive use of fertilizers can harm the plant and cause water pollution.2.They are expensive.3.It harms the soil and kills the micro-organisms present in the soil.

ADVANTAGES1. Fertilizers are easy to store and transport.2.They are nutrient specific. Thus for supplying a particular nutrient we can select some specific chemical fertilizer.3.They are quick in action and required in smaller quantities.

Ammonium Sulphate is a highly used fertilizer and an inorganic soil supplement all over the world.

Sodium Nitrate is another inorganic fertilizer which is a compound of sodium, nitrogen and oxygen.

Ammonia is a very effetive fertilizer for the soil where maize and wheat are cultivated.
