Are the main source of energy in the body. This energy is usually stored if not used near the moment they are digested. They are usually made out of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Fatty acids are the monomers, which form diglycerides and triglycerides (lipids).

GOODThe good cholesterol (HDL) is called like this because it is believed that helps to reduce cholesterol in the blood.
