Roman Numerals

Roman Numerals are old numbers in Roman history.But did you know Romans did not have zero in their number alphabet. For example by writing 50 you would write L.

VIII=8 IX=9 X=10

V=5 VI=6 VII=7

III= three IV=4

I = one II= two

Some people around the world still use Roman Numerals. For example on clocks or chapter books. M=1,000 D=500 C=100
