Famous Scientist - Ampére

Andre Marie Ampere was mostly self educated. His father was guillotined during the French Revolution. After experiecing an experiment (done by Osrted) , Andre developed a theory to help the people "understand the relationship between electricity and magnetism." Because of his thoughts the "Ampere" was etablished as a standard unti of electical measurment. Sadly this worldy known scientisit died in 1836.

1775 - He was born on Jan 22nd1801 - Physics Teacher805 - He got a job and Worked as a teacher for Polytechnic in Paris1836 - He died on June 10th Created by Collin Lopes and Kaila Winn

For his fanominal idea of electricity and magentism sharing similarites, a unit of electical measurment was named after him.Ampère was elected to the prestigious National Institute of Sciences in 1814, and was awarded a chair at the University of France in 1826.

Lasting Impact

Andre invented a theory for explaning the relationship between electricity and magnetism.

    1805 He worked as a teacher for Polytechnic in Paris.

    1821 He was appointed experimental Physics teacher at College de France. His most important works are related to Physics.

    1826 He succeeded to formulate quantitative law related to electric currents interaction: “The force two elements of the electricity action one on the other is directly proportional to the square of the distance between them.”
