How to make it!1. Cut a poster board in half2.Draw lines to devide into 4 sections3. Write the place value in each section (ones. tens, hundreds, thousands, )4. Make shapes with differant numbers and have a place value underlined(1023)

How to do it!1. Review place value with students.2. Devide students into teams.3. Explain rules (NO RUNNING, taking turns turn over a shape figure out the place value of the number underlined, go place the shape on the correct section on your teams poster, when seated the next student goes until all shapes are gone)4. Walk around classroom monitoring and helping any students having problems
