Euclid

Many people have proposed the idea that Euclid did not in fact write his books. They were written by another team of mathematicians who took up the name Euclid as a pen name. This idea is not accepted by many scholars and there is little evidence.

A way that he contributed to light is Optics Euclid follows the Platonic tradition that vision is caused by discrete rays which from emanate from the eye.

Euclid date of birth and his death is unknown, but we know about him is that he was a Greek mathematician. He lived in Alexandria, Egypt.
