When you are at a store, you have to determine if you can save money by buying a mulitpack as opposed to a single unit. Real life: If a single unit is five dollars and a multipack is six for twenty-four dollars, which is a better value?c is cost per unit 6c=24--- --- = 46 6 c= $4The multipack is a better value compared to the single unit.
Two Step Equation
Step One: Isolate the variable by subtracting three from both sides of the equations. Step Two: Since 9x is multiplication, divide by nine on both sides of the equation to get x=2. X=2
