How to Deal with the Emotional Rollercoaster of Puberty When you are stressed, try these tips: Get support - ask a parent or trusted adult to help. Speak to your peers - they might be facing the same challenge. Don't take it out on yourself. Try and work through the problem - step by step. Surround yourself with positive affirmations. Remind yourself that most stress is temporary. Give yourself lots of time for physical activities and sports. Take a break from the situation and do something fun.

"I'm too short. My hair is too curly. My nose is too long." Are you lowering your self esteem based on your body image?  Don't worry - you are not alone. As an adolescent, you are changing. So is your image.  You may be comparing your body image to other people's.  This can be hard to stop, but it isn't right.  Learn to love who you are and be positive about yourself.
