CONS: an eyesore, storm damage, requires community approval, loud, can harm bats and birds

Energy Efficiency of a Wind Turbine:A good site may have 35% capacity produced per year.Although heat and noise energy is lost, this is still more energy efficient than fossil fuels!

How it works:1. Moving air spins the angled turbine blades, transforming kinetic energy into mechanical energy.2. Shafts and gears transfer this energy into the generator.3. The generator creates electrical energy, which generates 17 - 39 times as much power as wind turbines consume! This proves how beneficial wind energy is for us, as it is free, inexhaustible, pollution-free, and efficient.

Overall, wind energy is much better than fossil fuels! In the future, we could use bigger turbines and bigger wind farm to produce pollution-free energy!
