Emerald Ash Borer
It originally came from northern China and Korea. It may be also found in eastern Russia, Japan and Mongolia.
The Emerald Ash Borer infest ash trees and kill them over time,this happens when EAB lay eggs on the bark and when the larva hatch they chew into the cambuim and phloem and eventually kill the tree.
The EAB is smaller than a penny.
-Dont move firewood,moving firewood will help this beetle spread.-buy kiln-dried firewood-Look for signs of the beetle or damage and report it,so that it can be taken care of.
