Ella baker part 1

Became the NAACP's national  director of branches, when she resigned she worked for a number of organizations including the New York Urban League and also helped out at the New York chapter of the NAACP.

Became field secretary for the National Association For the Advancement of Coloured People. She travelled extensively raising funds and recruiting new members.

Organized the YNCL in NYC & became a national director for the NAACP
