Snowy Owls, Polar Bears (20,000-25,000), Arctic Foxes, and Arctic Hares are common animals found in the Tundra ecosystem.

Limiting resources of the Tundra include sunlight, water, vegetation, and food supply.

The Tundra is an ecosystem in which tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and a short growing season. It has a short summer of 6-10 weeks and never has temperatures above 50 degrees.
