Elizabeth Cady Stanton

On May 15, 1869 in New York City, the National Woman Suffrage Association (NWSA) was formed. E.C. Stanton and Susan B. Anthony created the NWSA

On July 19-20, 1848, Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton held the Women's Rights Convention held in Seneca Falls, New York.

In 1869, Elizabeth was the first person elected president for the NWSA, and was president until 1890.

In 1868, Stanton and Anthony worked on the Revolution. The revolution was a militant weekly paper.

Stanton wrote the Declaration of Sentiments, which was based off of the Declaration of Independence (1848).
