Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Elizabeth Cady Stanton was a women suffragist and writer. She was born in Jamestown, New York. Unlike many who were involved with the Women's Rights Movement, she addressed many issues including: women's voting rights, women's custody rights, employment rights/ oppoturnities, divorce, and many more. She is included in the Georgia Public Standards for 4th grade because she was an abolitionist who believed in women's rights and suffrage.
