FACTS-Carbon monoxide is a colorless, tasteless gas that is very harmful. -It has a density of 1500g/mL (less dense than air)-It has a melting point of -205 degrees Celcius. -It has a boiling point of -191.5 degrees Celcius.

Compounds(Carbon Monoxide)

.

Carbon monoxide is used to run cars, it is also used to run funraces, it is the blue flame in fire, coal gases, lighting, cooking, and heat. These are also just some uses for carbon monoxide.

-Causes of carbon monoxide poisoning are: unvented space heaters, leaking chimneys, gas stoves, tabacco smoke, car exaust, etc.-Carbon monoxide poisoning happens to people when they are in a inclosed space with carbon monoxide in the area. -One way to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning is by installing a carbon monoxide alarm.

In 322-384 BC was the start of burning coals that produced toxic fumes. This was also the gas that kept cars moving and made people sick. Although, not until leter did scientists figure out that it was very bad for people adn made them very sick.
