El Salvador Food:The most notable dish is called Pupusa. They are handmade corn tortillas filled with cheese, chicharron or refried beans. Panes Relleno is a warm chicken or turkey sub sandiwich. Empanadas are made by folding dough or bread around stuffing, which usually consists of a variety of meat, cheese, huitlacoche, vegetables or fruits.
