Effects of global warming

GLOBAL WARMING and its EFFECTS on VIOLENT WEATHER

We have had the hottest temperatures from 2001 - 2010. With more heat the water is evaporated and stays it the are to its highest levels. When this happens we get heavier precipitation in the form of intense rain or snow.

With the intense precipitation we have a greater risk of flash floods. Flash flood pose the most immediate risk to people. Even regions where it would never have this kind of weather are increasingly at risk.

Tornadoes are little known except that they form when moist air from the ground reaches the cooler air above. Scientist have discovered that we have increased our tornado rate to 14 per year in the last 50 years.

Scientist are saying thesse storms are becoming parts of our everyday life. If we dont stop the effects of global warming we will increase the amount of precipitation by 40 percent.
