- Degas was never married, however, he became a good friend of another artist by the name of Mary Cassatt- Painter, scultper, printmaker- Was an influence for Pablo Picassio. Was influenced by calssics (ex: Da Vinci)- Most expensive artwork, a pastel, went for £17.6m ($26,151,660.14).- Died in Paris in 1917 at age 83.
