"The Masque of the Red Death" is about Prince Prospero having a Masquerade and an uninvited guest appears and the revelers were scared and frightened at the sight of the Red Death. In Edgar Allen Poe's life this story relates to the way Tuberculosis can have an effect on people, in Poe's life all the women he loved died from Tuberculosis. A quote from "The Masque of the Red Death" that relates the picture and the story is "There was a sharp cry and the dagger dropped gleaming upon the sable carpet, upon which most instantly afterward, fell postrate in death the Prince Prospero.""The Tell-Tale Heart" is about a madman killing and old man with a blind eye and telling on himself to the police. In Poe's life Poe wanted love and acceptance from his father and his (adopted)father but was never fully loved and he was treated unfairly. He had the eye of a vulture-- a pale blue eye with a film over it.""Annabel Lee" is about a narrator who has a deep passion for his love, Annabel Lee , it also has to do with Annabel Lee dying and the narrator talks about their good times together. In Poe's life His wife Virginia dies and Poe is just devastated. A quote from "Annabel Lee" that relates the picture and the story is "The angels, not as half happy in Heaven, went envying her and me..."
