Edgar Allan Poe was bornJanuary 19, 1809, in Boston, Massaschutes. In 1811 his fater abandon thefamily, and later on that year his mother died fromTuberculosus. He was "adopted" by the Allan family because he would be an orphan. He married his 13 year old cousin in 1837, She later died at age 25 from Tuberculosus. He wrote many stories/poems about death and loss of loved ones. He died October 7,1849.
