Enner ValenciaEnner Valencia is a famous soccer player born in San Lorenzo, Ecuador. He started his career in 2008. Enner is a part of the Ecuadorian National team in soccer.

Education:The Ecuadorian Constitution requires all children to go to school until they have reached a "Basic level of Education", wich is geussed to be 9 school years. However they teach and speak spanish to Ecuadorian children.

Culture and landmarks:Ecuador is split in to four parts: The coast; the Sierra, El Oriente, and The Galapagos Islands. about 95% of Ecuadorians are Roman Catholic. Ecuador formed the kingdom of Quito around 1000 from the tribes of the northen highlands of Ecuador according to http://www.factmonster.com/country/ecuador.html

Animals:Galapagos island:The Galapagos island has many uniqe animals but these three are some of the most unique. 1. The Galapagos Tortoises, The island was named after these beautifal creatures. 200 years ago there was close to 250,000 of the turtles, today there is around 15,000 alive. 2. Marine iguana, Its the only still existing marine lizard on Earth. It eats seaweed instead of land vegetation. 3. Sally lightfoot crab, This crab is often seen cleaning ticks off the skins of lizards. Sally lightfoots are often a target for photographers because of their rainbow colored skin/shells. More animals that live in Ecuador are Jaguar, Ocelot, Howler monkeys, puma, Capybara, Galapagos Sea Lion, and many many more.

Fun facts:Disney has a program that provides the help and supplies to rebuild and fix the schools in Ecuador. Ecuador is the smallest country in the Andean highlands. One of the three countries created in 1830. Ecuador is named for the equator.

This is the Ecuadorian flag. It gained independence on May 24, 1822. Its currency is the United State Dollar. Ecuador's capital is Quito. The population[according from 2013] is 15.74 million.

Local Foods:In Ecuador, around diffrent parts it is common to see whole Cuy also known as guinea pig, plantains, tropical fruits, roast pigs, mote[boiled corn], and seafood[diffrent kinds vary depending wich place in Ecuador you are in for example The Highlands.

Ecuador sports:Ecuador has many sports. They have futbol(a.k.a football), tennis,and Basketball. Ecuador has been in 11 Summer Olympic games, but have never won the Winter Oylmpic games.
