Ecosystems

By: Olivia Westley-Sherman

This is an indivisual of one Lily of the Valley before it has bloomed.

This is a population of Lily of the Valleys.

This is a biotic factor of an ecosystem. I took a picture of a biotic factor next to an abiotic factor to show that they work together.

Vocabulary-Ecosysytem: a group of living and non-living things that live in the same area or environment-Habitat: The place where an animal lives depending on it's needs-Indivisual: one living thing-Population: all of the same kind living things in an area-Community: all the living things in an area-Abiotic factor: a non-living part of an ecosystem-Biotic factor: a living part of an ecosysytem-Niche: the job an animal does

This is a pond ecosystem. There areliving things in here such as algae and fish, as well as non-living things such as rocks.

This is a habitat. Wild rabbits live under the bushes.

This is an abiotic factor.

This is the photo I used to niche, because bees bring pollen from one flower to another, and it makes more flowers, so this shows that a bee did it's job.

This is a community because there are many different kinds of plants.
