Earth's Structure

This is a picture of a Plateau. A Plateau is a flat mountain. One of the ways a plateau can be formed is by magma pushing up the mantle causing uplift.

This mineral is called Quartz. Quartz is the second aubundant in the Earth's Contiental Crust after Feldspar.

This is an image of metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rocks rise from exsisting rock types. Like the rock protolith is subjected (tempurtures greater than 150 to 200 degrees fahrenhpit.

This is an image of Sedimentray rock. Sedimentray rock are the types of rock that are formed of deposition of material at the Earth's surface and within bodies of water.
