Slaughter students will go the ends of the Earth to make a difference!

Bring all projects to school on Thursday, April 19th. Be sure to include your first and last name, teacher's name, and grade level somewhere on your project. Winners will be announced at GMS the following day. Plan to take your project home after school, Friday April 20th.

This year's theme is about going to the "ends of the Earth," meaning the polar ice caps. Students are challenged to use recycleable materials to make an art creation that represents something about the Arctic, Antarctic, North, or South Pole.

Watch to learn about the Arctic and Antarctic.

Projects will be judged based on thoughtful connection to the theme, overall appearance and creativity, and especially on the percentage of recycleable materials used. A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be chosen from each grade!

All participants will be given a prize!
