To make a good voice over story I learned you had to have a good story to have a strong foundation and starting point.

Three years ago renovation began on the Early Childhood Building for the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. Four classes moved into the renovated building. These include Mrs.Bobbitt and Mrs.Dodd, Pre-K teachers. Mrs.Sockey and Mrs.Decker, Kindergarten. The auditorium is still under construction but the students are enjoying their newly remodeled classrooms.

Voice over- When an anchor or reporter reads a script while video relating to the news story is seen on the screen. It is sometimes called a track because in the world of videotape editing, sound is recorded on different tracks. A SOT can become a VO if you cover the interview with different video than the person speaking. For example, you see a man sitting down commenting about trains and suddenly you see the vidoe of trains while he's still talking. That's VO/SOT.
