Many Fuels

Early Automobiles: " why these early fuels were used" The growth of the suburbs dramatically increased when people started owning automobiles, because it became even easier for people to live farther from their work. "why some of these fuels lost favor" because it took a long time for the engines to heat up, they cost a lot to make, they caused a lot of noise, and sometimes they exploded if too much pressure built up in the engine."what the future holds for these fuel types"There have been many improvements in the automobile over the past 110 years. In the early 1900’s, most automobiles looked more or less like horseless carriages.

The Mercedes-Benz 260 D was one of the first two diesel engined series produced passenger cars.

To Edison and others, electric cars seemed preferable to finicky, smoking gasolene-powered cars. However, refinements to internal-combustion technology brought performance advantages that early battery-powered cars could not match.

Early Automobiles

In 1769, the very first self-propelled road vehicle was a military tractor invented by French engineer and mechanic, Nicolas Joseph Cugnot (1725-1804)

This 1934 Ford Model BB tow truck has a flathead V8 engine, 3-speed manual transmission and Ernest Holmes 485 crane package.
