Dwarfism is a rare genetic disorder that affects the development of bones. There are two types of dwarfism: disproportionate dwarfism which body parts do not correlate in size and are either too big or small. Proportionate dwarfism on the other hand means that the body parts are proportional and the body is just small altogether.

Dwarfism cannot be prevented but we can reduce the impacts it has on someone's life. Technically there is a cure for dwarfism... abstinence.

Dwarfism is caused by genetic disorders, hormonal problems, poor nutrition, and sometimes the cause is unknown.

Dwarfism can usually be diagnosed by just about anyone with eyeballs. With characteristics such as an adult with the height of 4ft. 10in., hunchback, crowded teeth and the bowling of legs. More elaborate tests can be conducted to identify the type of dwarfism.
