Drafting: Events 3 and 4

Is this really happening? My mind reverted back to the tryouts that took place only a few days before. I remember my bat smashing several solid hits--two to short stop and one one to centerfield. Like lightning, my feet brought me all the way to third on that one. Standing at third, my mouth drew into a smile. I can't wait to do this all summer long!
