What does it mean to be drafted? By the time one turns 18, he will be drafted into the military. Usually, if one has good grades in college, you were drafted but it is different now...Do you have the choice to go?You have a couple of choices:1. You go2. Join another service3. Dodge- Leave the countryYou have 10 days to notify them of your service. Do the ones that dodge, ever come home?No, they usually never come back. When did the drafting end?Nixon shared that there was no more drafting. When the men found out, they would begin to cry, not becuase they were happy, but becuase they were already drafted, so they cannot get out now.When did people start burning their draft cards? During the time of Woodstock, a time of love and music turned into 500,000 people burning their draft cards.
