Down Sydrome

Down syndrome symptoms vary from person to person and can range from mild to severe. No matter the severity of the condition, persons with Down syndrome have a widely-recognized appearance.

My son, Aiden, has down syndrome. He was diagnosed with this disorder when he was born. Less than 1% of Down Syndrome cases are considered hereditary. His physical development is very slow compared to his peers. He has low muscle tone, a small stature, an upward slant to his eyes, and a single deep crease across the center of the palm. Aiden participates in many sports and activities with his friends after school.
