Freshwater Biome Our Biome is the Freshwater Biome. This Biome contains 3% of the earth’s water. The three plants I’m using in my biome are cattails, algae, and plankton. I consider plankton as a plant because I uses the same sources a plant does to live. It depends on what level a plant or animal is in the freshwater biome to determine the temperature. The top gets the most heat than the middle and bottom. Most of the animals live closer to the top as well. For example, blue gill fish, white bass, snapping turtles, and otters.
