Divergent

Shailene Woodley (Beatrice "Tris" Prior) is the main protagonist and narrator of the Divergent series. She is a strong-willed sixteen-year-old girl who hates showing weakness.

In a futuristic society where the five factions are the basis of the whole function, Tris Prior discovers that she's Divergent, therefore does not fit in to one faction. If she is discovered, she will be killed. She tries to keep her Divergence a secret, but throughout her vigorous training, she reveals to the trainer, Four, her ability to manipulate the test and that she is Divergent. Soon Tris and Four discover a plot to overthrow the government, killing hundreds in the process, and they must do what they can to stop it. With the power of Divergence, a they may just be the only ones able to save their whole world.

Theo James (Tobias Eaton), more prominently known as Four, is the deuteragonist of the Divergent trilogy.

Divergent is a 2014 American science fiction action film, based on the novel of the same name by Veronica Roth. The film is the first installment in The Divergent Series and was produced by Lucy Fisher, Pouya Shabazian, and Douglas Wick, with a screenplay by Evan Daugherty and Vanessa Taylor.
