Dinner: Asian Glazed Drumsticks

Servings: 4Serving Size: 2 DrumsticksCalories: 213Fat: 4.7 g.Protein: 27.5 g.Carb. 12.7 g.Fiber: 0.4 g.Ingredients:- 8 medium chicken drumsticks, skin removed.- Pam Spray-1 cup water- 1 tbsp. Sriracha hot sauce1/3 cup light balsamic vinegar- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce- 1 tbsp. honey or (sugar)- 3 gloves of garlic, crushed- 1 tsp. ginger- 2 tbsp. chives or scallions- 1 tsp. of sesame seeds- with a side of celery or broccoli


Asian Glazed Drumsticks

1) In a heavy large saucepan, brown sugar on high for 3-4 minutes with a little spray of pam spray. 2) Add water, balsamic, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, hot sauce and cook on high until liquid comes to a boil. 3) Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes.4) Remove cover and bring heat to a high, allowing sauce to reduce down, about 8- 10 minutes, until it becomes thick, turning chicken occassionally.5) Transfer chicken to a platter and pour sauce on top. 6) Top with chives or sesame seeds and serve, and add a side of broccoli or celery.

*continuously rotate chicken to prevent from burning it.
