CD-RW stands for Compact Disk Re-Writable. The advantages are they are small, cheap, and relatively easy to access and produce. The disadvantages are areas can get burned out.DVD-ROM: it has permanent storage and can store up to 17GB. IT stands for Digital Versatile Disk Read Only Memory. The advantages are it is very portable. A disadvantage is it could get scratched up easily.DVD-R+R: it is recordable, can record multiple times and cannot be erased. IT can store up to 4.7GB. An advantage is it is portable, a disadvantage is it could easily get scratched or misplaced.DVD-RW+RW: it can store, erase, replace data info like a floppy disk or a hard drive. It can store up to 4.7GB. An advantage is it is really portable, a disadvantage is it could easily be scratched or damaged.Blu-Ray Disk: it is recordable and is a rewritable disk like CDs and DVDs. It can store up to 25GB. Advantages include it is portable, disadvantages are you cannot replace the data.USB Flash Drive:it is recordable and can store up to 64GB. Advantages are it is portable, disadvantages are it can be misplaced easily.Memory Card: it is a removable storage device used in digital cameras (such as SD Cards, compact flash cards) and is erasable. It can store up to 32GB. Advantages are it is easily portable, a disadvantage is you could easily misplace it since it's so small.External Hard Drive: outside a computer, is recordable. Can store up to 300GB-2TB. Advantages are it can store a lot of space, and a disadvantage is it can be broken easily. Internet-based: something that you use that is connected with the internet. Advantages are: you could use it anywhere if you have internet. Disadvantages are if you don't have internet, you can't use it.
