Depression

Depression is an imbalance in the brain chemestry

Depression can happen to anyone! It is not specific to any age or any person! Depression is a mood disorder. It affects mood, perception, and behavior, but it is also difficult to diagnose.

Some of the symptoms and effects of Depression include persistant sadness, stomachaches, headaches, cronic fatigue, loss of energy, changed sleeping patterns, changed eating habbits, loss of interest in life, recklace behavior (especially in teens), including having multiple sex partners and doing drugs, misbehaving, and many more.

To get help you can go to your pediatrician or family physician. Medications can help deal with the depression. If a teenager or child has depression, the parents of the child normally gather the information of their child's depression at home and tell the Dr.'s so they can help more.
