Background Information:Size: 1-4 FeetFound in Tropical and Sub-Tropical oceansDiet: Algae and CoralReproduction: Pelagic spawning and OviparousFun Fact: If a dominent male dies, the female will change color and gender to become the dominent male.

Research Objectives:To determine whether parrotfish activity changes during the night and day.

Results:During the day 23% of parrotfish are eating and 30% are swimming. At night 56% of parrotfish are swimming and 0% are eating.

Conclusion:Parrotfish behaviors differs from day and night, during the day they spend majority of the day swimming and eating off of the reefs. At night they are swimming to there homes in order to have enough time to build there mucus bubbles.

Hypothesis:If majority of parrotfish are eating during the day, then most will be hidden or sleeping at night
