David Shannon

"No, David" was originally written when David Shannon was five. His mother later sent it to him and he edited it to be published but most of it is the original. He used some of the same illustrations as well.

~ Born in Washington D.C. ~ In an interview, he said he loved "Oliver Twist" but liked Artful Dodger the best; he always thought the villains in Disney movies were cool. ~ How Georgie Radbourn Saved Baseball (1994) was his first book. ~ Now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and 17 year old daughter, who have inspired a lot of his books. http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/contributor/david-shannon
