Flapper Girls!Flapper girls were dancing girls and entertainers. They had short hairstyles and fitted hats. Short skirts were very popular among flapper girls. The term "flapper" originated in Great Britain as a name for a young girl who hasn't reached womanhood yet.

How did people know the dance? People learned to dance by going to dance clubs and dance classes. "How To" books were published, which helped them learn to dance. Parents sent their children to dance classes, if they had the money. Public dance halls, clubs, and tea rooms opened in cities. It was important to learn proper dance etiquette.
