Usually, no symptoms are displayed in children under two years. In older children, drowsiness, fever, and sore throat may be observed. In mothers who become infected while pregnant, the risk of fetal damage is quite high.
There is no known specific incubation period. It may be around 4-8 weeks.

Signs and Symptoms
Children with this disease do not need to be excluded from daily activities. Be sure to wash hands after changing a diaper or coming into contact with saliva. Try not to kiss a child's mouth or sare cups, straws, and utensils. Make sure that children wash their hands properly and clean toys and surfaces often.
Control Measures
The virus can be present in the bodily fluids for several moths after the initial infection.
The disease is transmitted when one comes into contact with infected body fluids such as breast milk, saliva, blood, or urine.
