What is Netiquette?It is defined as "the rules about the proper and polite way to communicate with other people when you are using the Internet."(Merriam-Webster)The video on the left explains a bit about proper netiquette.
Cyberbullying
What does cyberbullying look like?- Aggressive/abusive texts or emails- Mean/hurtful messages, images, or videos- Pretending to be someone else online- Leaving other people out online- Saying untrue rumors, lying or gossiping about another person(esafety.gov)
What can be done?- Do not respond to the bully- Collect proof of the bullying by taking photos or printing off copies of conversations (texts, emails, etc.)- Block the bully from all websites- Report the bully to the website- Tell an adult or friend about the bullying as soon as it happens(esafety.gov)
