How it got its name:The Cuban Sandwich got its name because it came from Cuba to Florida, the original name was 'Cubano'.

History:- It is sometimes called a cubano.- A Latin variation on a grilled ham and cheese sandwich.- Came from Cuba by Cuban immigrants who settled in Florida.- By the 1930s, Cuban sandwiches were everyday fare on cafeteria and restaurant menus.
