Not only is the writing process is so very important in reading and language arts, it is important that the students are knowledgeable of it in order to briefly incorporate it in their writing across the board. The writing process is an important part of writing, however it will not be used in every curriculum as it should not be. The writing process takes a large amount of time and in various curriculars you may need quick answers, journaling, and reflections. However here is a run down of the writing process which should be utilized in ELA and writing.

Although we are placing such an emphasis on the writing process here, it is not necessary for all writing that takes place for example in journaling.

When it comes to education, technology is quickly taking the lead so we need to make sure that we incorporate it as well to keep students' interest, but just be aware of the spell and grammar check that way students are still able to check themselves and not rely on an outside source.
