What happpens
The symptoms for Crohn’s disease are diarrhea, abdominal pain and cramping, loss of appetite, weight loss, and fever.
Symptoms
Usually the child will not have the symptoms until they grow older, the age groups are 18-75 years old. The popultion of the people that have Crohn's is one million Americans and most of the population is in Europe and North America

The Gene and ChromosomeAffected
The gene that is affected is ATG16L1, IRGM, and NOD2. The chromosomes that are affected are 5 and 10. Scientists have not found out if Crohn's is recessive or dominant trait.
The cause of Crohn's is inherited genes, the immune system, & environmental factors. Foregin substances such as (antigens) in the enviroment could be the main cause of Crohn's.
