Crispus Attucks was born in 1723 his exact birth date is unknown.

Crispus Attucks was a young slave working many long, difficult days on a Wampanoag farm.

Crispus Attucks status at this time was a free black or runaway slave. No one knows how he escaped.

Crispus Attucks was the first person shot at the Boston Massacre and died on March 5, 1770 at the age of 47.

Crispus Attucks was an American slave, merchant seaman and dock worker of Wampanoag. He was also greatly known as the first person who died at the Boston Massacre. Crispus attucks was brought to America at a young age and put to slave work once he was at the age of being capable to complete difficult tasks. Crispus Attucks escaped his slave owners clutch and was considered a free black/runaway slave around the age of 25. Crispus Attucks was the first killed March 5th, 1770 at the Boston Massacre. He was only 47 at the time. Many associations are made in his honor for his herohood and bravery.
