Weeks after the Japanese disaster, American media is focused primarily on the events occuring in the Arab world. The majority of Americans see the Middle-Eastern unrest as being more relevant to them. World news still has coverage of updates of the crisis in Japan.

Over the weeks since the disaster in Japan, American Mass media has been intensly covering activities in Libya, Egypt and the rest of the Arab World. This has been keeping public focus from a possible nuclear disaster in Japan.

the day of the disaster, and the days following American media had full coverage of the events in Japan
