Corrie ten Boom had a very kind spirit and trusted that the Lord would do amazing things with her fmaily during World War II. Her family held Bible studies everyday so that their relationship wioth the Lord will grow.
Corrie was born on April 15, 1892, in Haarlem, Amsterdam.Her family lived in the Beje. The ten Boom's owned a watch shop.In 1940, they started hiding Jews from the Germans. Her family got caught and arrested in 1944. Corrie's father and sister both died in the prison while there. Corrie was released in late December, 1944. She wrote an autobiography, The Hiding Place. She died in 1983, on her birthday.

Corrie achieved a lot of things throughout her lifetime. She saved hundreds of people's lives and she started safe houses to help that process. After she was released from prison and the war ended, she started a rehabilitation center for concentration camp survivors. She also wrote a book that was later turned into a movie.
