What is the land like in a Coral Reef?

As you start to walk near the ocean in the marine region you will find that the water is warm, shallow, and you notice that the water is colorful from the coral. You see that it is like a rainforest, but in the ocean. When you look out you see that there are islands surrounding the mainland and the coral is between it, but as you look down again you As you start to walk near the ocean in the marine region you will find that the water is warm, shallow, and you notice that the water is colorful from the coral. You see that it is like a rainforest, but in the ocean. As you look down you will notice that the coral looks like rock, as you look closer you find that it is limestone of millions of polyps that are dead and attached to the coral which makes it look like limestone and live ones that live in sponge-like complex habitats. When you look out you see that there are islands surrounding the mainland and the coral is between it, but as you look down again you notice it looks like there is 3 layers to the beautiful reef, the Inner reef, Reef crest, and the Outer reef. The Inner reef is flat, the Reef crest gradually goes down, and when you reach about 30 feet deep you will find the Outer reef. You notice that the Outer reef is filled with life and spectacular creatures that you did not find earlier while you were searching the coral reef.

What animals can be found in the coral reef?

My biome is the Coral Reef for the past week I gathered information about the animals that live there. Their is many fish in the coral reef including the clown fish. Animals in the reef use the coral as a home or protection. Sometimes people fish to much and then the fishes go to another habitat so the habitat overflows. Animals in the reef attach themselves to other plants. The coral reef was a great biome to do research on and it is a beautiful place.

What is the climate of the coral reef?

The coral reef is one of the most amazing underwater biomes that exist. The climate of the coral reef is depending on where the coral reef is located. A normal temperature for the coral reef is around 68-82°F (or 20-28°C) the climate is usually the same. When the water gets warmer the water the algae dies and in result the water turns white. Like the algae only certain creatures can survive a climate like the coral reef’s climate. coral reef’s climate is amazing so next time you're near a coral reef think about it’s climate.
