As of 2013, the population of the United Kingdom was 64 million. Most people in the U.K. are native English, Welsh, Scots or Irish. There are also South Asians - from Bangladesh, Pakistan and India and Afro Caribbeans.

London is the capital of the U.K. Standing on the River Thames, It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium.I visited London last summer. We went on the London Eye - a giant ferris wheel that gives great views of the city. You can see the Big Ben and even Buckingham Palace. We traveled by the tube and red double decker buses!I loved the vibe of the city with its awesome architecture, museums, musicians and street dancers.United Kingdom is a cool country that is both historic and modern.
